And given the reality of our lives today (non-stop stress and input from internet and all the social media, our smart phones etc etc, yeah we all know the story) it’s not a surprise at all to see this increasing demand for a counterforce to tackle all the stress that comes along.
I have been practicing meditation each day for the past 10 years. In Sweden, meditation was considering something rather strange back in my starting days, but now it’s becoming more and more mainstream. However, many people experience resistance and difficulties in keeping up the practice and maintain it long term.
Questions like “Am I doing this right?”, OMG I can’t stop thinking about other stuff”, “I’m soo bored right now, can this be the proper way to do this?” are very common. And just to be clear, everyone can meditate, so don’t you worry about that, it’s just a matter of practice and getting the right attitude towards it!
